Flower Bulbs - A whole flower within a bulb

Flower bulbs are an easy way to a beautiful flower garden. The whole flower exists inside the bulb and is just waiting to come out. To enjoy the beauty of bulb flowers you only have to decide how many you want to plant and what kind of colors and forms you want to see (mass plantings vs. single blooms), and when to plant them.

  • Tulips

  • Crocuses

  • Daffodils

  • Snowdrops

  • Hyacinths

need to be planted in the fall and after a long winter will be ready to bloom in the spring. On the other hand

  • Alliums

  • Dahlias

  • Gladiolus

  • Lilies

  • Begonias
and many other summer blooming flowers need to be planted in spring and will bloom during the long lazy days of summer.
